PromoPoint Marketing featured in Progressive Grocer

Tampa, Fla. — PromoPoint Marketing’s latest health and wellness program at Redner’s Warehouse Markets -- “HealthCents” -- was featured in the May 5 Progressive Grocer article, “Redner’s Bows ‘HealthCents’, Adds Corporate Dietitian.” The program aims to improve the wellbeing of Redner’s customers by offering practical nutrition and healthy lifestyle tips that have a practical application to everyday life.

“The most impressive thing about the Redner’s HealthCents program is that everyone involved wins,” said John Reardon, PromoPoint Marketing's Director. "Participating brands experience significant incremental sales lifts, consumers benefit from the outstanding information on making better choices for a healthy lifestyle and Redner’s customer count is increasing as they are impressing upon their consumers that feeding their family in a healthy manner does not have to be expensive.”

Redner's Markets, Inc. currently operates 39 Warehouse Markets and 12 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Delaware. The program features a registered dietitian -- Meredith Mensinger-- who will disseminate health and wellness advice on behalf of the grocery company through a variety of communication vehicles including a bimonthly newsletter that feature “Cents-ible tips.”

Redner’s will promote the HealthCents program in its bi-weekly sales circular with a variety of relevant featured products. The featured products and newsletters will be on display in a customized HealthCents display in all of Redner’s warehouse-style supermarkets.
