Tanya Domier
President, Marketing Services
Tanya Domier is President of the Marketing Services Division of Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC (ASM). She has also served on the company’s Board of Directors since 2006.
Domier began her career with the J.M. Smucker Company and has over two decades of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. She joined ASM in 1990, and quickly rose through the company’s ranks, holding a variety of executive level positions in sales, marketing, and operations along the way.
Early in her tenure at ASM, Domier realized that the company was uniquely positioned to address the shortcomings of traditional promotional agencies, which often delivered ideas that were not executable in a store environment or within brand budgets. She envisioned a customer-centric marketing agency model that would ground programs in shopper buying behavior insights and store environment knowledge and with respect to clients’ overall brand marketing and sales strategies.
Domier’s vision was realized in 2000, when ASM Marketing Services was formed under her leadership. Expanding organically and through two acquisitions, today the division includes five business units: INtegrated Marketing Services (a full-service consumer and shopper marketing agency), PromoPoint Marketing (retailer promotional programs); Marketration (event marketing at store and in the community); TFI (custom publishing content including health and wellness and diversity marketing); and Campaigners (custom demo programs and in-store event execution).
In 2008 Domier’s leadership was instrumental in creating a strategic partnership with Walmart focused on improving the in-store interaction between brands and shoppers at the retail giant. Shopper Events is Walmart’s only authorized in-store event-planning and coordination company.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Chico.
